YWIH
Region 11 Grants Now Available
You have an idea or pending Young
Women In Harmony Project along with answers to the
“who’s”, “why’s” and “what’s” to make it happen…but your
short on the resources for the “how”?
Region 11 has an answer for you
with the new YWIH Grant Application exclusively for
Region 11 members. The money is ready and waiting to be
delivered to your group!
Finalized in January of this year,
the YWIH Grant will help your program deliver both
musical excellence and education to the young women in
your community. Additionally, it gives young women a
taste of show business by teaching emerging voices the
skills, joy and rewards of performing and singing
four-part harmony, barbershop style.
As the grant states, “Eligibility
for receipt of grants from the Region 11 Young Women In
Harmony Program is limited to individuals, quartets or
choruses sponsoring vocal music activities for young
women within the boundaries of Region 11...”
Additionally, grants from the Region 11 Young Women In
Harmony Program may be available to supplement YWIH
quartets for the purpose of competing in the Rising Star
Quartet Contest provided that it is in conjunction
with local educational activities.
Take a look at it today and let us
help you expand your sphere of musical influence in your
community. You’ll find it
here.
Finally, thank you ALL for your
patience while this process was developed and refined.
Here’s to the possibilities!
In Harmony,
